Pendahuluan • Pengambilan keputusan “bidang pangan” didasarkan pada berbagai parameter yang diukur • Apabila hasil terbaik terkumpul pada parameter yang diukur, pengambilan keputusan MUDAH • Bagaimana kalau kalau tidak terkumpul ? • Contoh: PENGARUH SUHU PEMANASAN MADU PADA PEMBUATAN ES KRIM TERHADAP KECEPATAN MELELEH, OVERRUN DAN MUTU ORGANOLEPTIK

PERTIMBANGAN DALAM PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN • Variabel diurutkan berdasar ranking kontribusi dari tertinggi ke terendah • Masing-2 variabel ditentukan bobotnya, shg kepentingan relatifnya dikuantifikasikan antara 0 – sampai 1 • Dibuat skala performance (efektifitas) dari masing-2 alternatif dalam mendapatkan nilai maksimum yang dapat diperoleh oleh masing-2 variabel. • Bobot normal (butir 3) dikalikan dengan bobot masing-2 variabel (pada butir 2), kemudian di jumlahkan semua variabel untuk masing-2 alternatif, maka diperoleh skor yg menunjukkan nilai total dari suatu alternatif.
