Debriefing Today’s Meeting:PLN Strategy: Please Do Now What is it? • An activating strategy for the lesson • Involves independent reading and writing (usually a requirement to write a certain # of lines) *Collins: Type 1 or Type 2 • Quick—usually no more than 5 minutes What is its purpose? • To build background knowledge • To prepare students for reading, writing or discussion (the Before)
