Recap of Last Week • Reviewed the use of Objects in the data model • Decided to align esMD Objects to PD Objects • Continued data model development efforts • Discussed ‘Security Information’ elements • Support staff moved these elements into the two Provider Objects and the Agent Objects • Discussed and updated cardinality of NPI and Alternate ID elements
Today’s Agenda • Review updates to data model made offline by support staff • Review and refine integration of PD Objects into the data model • Continue with data model development
Adding Objects to the PPA Data Model • Grouping certain elements together as a single object enables us to better represent the cardinality of those data elements • Objects also enable us to easily represent more complex rules, such as: • This object is optional, but if it is included all of its member elements are required • We added an additional tab to the data model entitled PPA Data Model Objects. It includes the following objects: • The relevant object then replaces the list of member elements in the Request and Response tabs
