Greatest Commands “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” –Mark 12:30-31
What are you made of? • We live out lives from the inside out (good tree bears good fruit) • It is the Lord’s goal to transform every dimension of our lives to be in step with his Spirit
What are you made of? • Your heart may need heart renovation if: • You dwell on ungodly thoughts (worry, bitterness) • You allow your feelings to control you • You misuse your body in order to cope with life’s problems • Your heart is not engaged in relationships • Other examples?
God knows our heart “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139:23-24)
