TRATTAMENTO FOTOCOAGULATIVO LASER DELLA CNV NON-SUBFOVEALE NELLA PM Studio randomizzato (1,2): benefici a breve-medio termine ma non dopo 5 anni rispetto ai controlli Studio retrospettivo (3): perdita visiva 42% (5 anni) sino al 63% (10 anni) nei trattati vs 68% nei controlli Studi controllati: 1) Soubrane 1986, 2)Fardeau 1992, 3) Secretan 1997

  3. Acuità visiva media iniziale 0,37/10 TRATTAMENTO FOTOCOAGULATIVO LASER DELLA CNV MIOPICA • Acuità visiva media iniziale 0,37/10 • Acuità visiva media a 60 mesi 0,30/10 • 158 occhi di 153 pazienti trattati con laser, • con follow up di 55 mesi

  5. PRINCIPALI COMPLICANZE POST TRATTAMENTO LASER • Allargamento cicatrice • Allargamento cicatrice • con rottura membrana di Bruch • Rottura epitelio pigmentato retinico

  6. La cicatrice post laser tende ad aumentare nel tempo, raddoppiando la sua grandezza dopo un anno. La direzione della cicatrice segue l’andamento del crescente miopico parapapillare.
