2. Search engine presence • Basic diagnosis and Status of www.supercoder.com

3. Meta tag usage Taking home page as example and observation for; Title: There’s not synchronization between Meta title, description and page content. Keywords used on Title are not available on Meta description & page content. Similarly same issue is with the keyword used at Meta description. Meta description: • Ideally Meta description should form a grammatical sentence using proper keywords. But with Supercoder.com, only keywords are used with lots of stop characters (,). Which is not recommended. • If assuming used key-terms on meta description as primary keywords, then there’s no use of these terms on the page.

4. Meta tag usage (cont..) • Going with below few cached pages at Google. There’s no usage of proper title with identified keyword. Infect special character is used, which is not recommended. • Meta description are also not supporting the targeted keywords and generally page running content is captured in it. This is making page less search engine friendly and probability of ranking such pages with targeted keywords is getting quite low with this strategy. • Synonyms/Full form can be used at Page title. Eg: asc and aapc

5. HTML Optimization Heading HTML Heading tags are not available on pages. This is heavily recommended and is the best place to use targeted keywords to increase keyword density and to emphasize on such term. Alt Tag As search engine crawler are unable to read the images. So Alt tags are very important place to assign meaning of images. But at Supercoder.com alt tags are not used. Benefits of using Alt tags: • Use proper meaningful related keywords for images. • Alt tags can be used very creatively to increase keyword density on pages. We can use keywords on this place.

6. HTML Optimization (Cont…) W3C Validation HTML is not properly validated as per W3C guidelines. For making site search engine friendly HTML code should be W3C validated and is playing crucial role.

7. Template Breadcrumb Breadcrumb can be used on site for better hierarchal presentation for search engine crawler. Through this strategy probability of getting site-links on search result is increased. It also increases the chances of better crawling for SEs on each visit of search spiders.

8. Spider control Webmaster integration • Webmaster tools are not integrated on site. We can use Google webmaster, Yahoo search explorer & bing webmaster on site for controlling search spiders. • This will also help us to monitor presence of site over different POS. • This will provide insights for keyword performance.

12. Backlink Backlink Summary If going with above backlink summary there must need improvement on backlink count. Recommendation • Take links from trusted internet proprietary websites for quick result (eg: .edu, .gov) • Create micro-site to push up the site on organic search result. • Create blog, submit article, RSS & Press release to improve backlinks.

13. Social media Social media Supercoder.com is well maintained on social media platform, both on Facebook & Twitter. But there’s scope of improvement. We can run interactive campaign there; Tips: • Can run quiz campaign. • Can run Polls. • Youtube landing page can be used more actively.

14. Affiliates • Affiliates home page could be less descriptive and benefits should be in bullets to attract customer quickly. • Use graphics/image to show the commission structure. • Use message board for latest updates for affiliates. • Take idea from other leading affiliates network like CJ, Tradedoubler or Linkshare for creatives/text links. This is usefull way to increase branding.

15. Newsletter Marketing Add newsletter subscription module for both Supercoder.com and Affiliates.Supercoder.com.. Send newsletter for both direct visitor and affiliates. Benefits • Can inform user/affiliates about latest offer on site. • Can update about new product or policy. • Can update affiliates about change on commission structure. • Can update affiliates about addition/deletion of creative. • Can update user/affiliates about current/upcoming campaign. • Through this we can land visitor to different segment over site including Facebook & Twitter.
