Workshop aims • discuss existing implementations of MD and View and Download NS conformance tests requirements by requirement • agree (as much as possible) on and draft a list of common interpretations of the validation rules and ways they should be tested • identify issues that prevent an agreement on common test procedures for specific TG requirements • discuss future evolutions related to INSPIRE validation issues and prepare recommendations for the way forward, relating to • scenarios for validation consistency across Europe. • possible testing tools and languages.
Expert profiles: 1 facilitator • Technical capacity • extensive knowledge in the implementation and standardisation issues of MD & NS validation, and of the relevant TGs • previous experience in coordinating groups of technical experts and in chairing technical workshops • Tasks • Prepare and chair the virtual kick-off meeting • Coordinate the group of experts • prepare of a template for documenting validation rules • Liaise with MIWP-5, MIG and Member States • Organize and chair 2 day workshop • Compile the final report resulting from the workshop discussions and the material provided by the expert group
Expert profile: 5 validation experts • Technical capacity • The expert shall have been involved in the specification of the agreed test logic for the <Country X> metadata and/or network services validator • Tasks • Participate in the virtual kick-off meeting • Prepare a short general overview of MD & NS validation in <Country X> • Prepare an exhaustive list of the MD and NS validation rules as implemented for the <Country X> based on template provided by the facilitator • Participate in a 2-day workshop • Review the final report of the workshop before its finalisation
