  2. She uses capacity to measure the volume • Capacity is the maximum amount something can contain. Measure capacity in ounces, cups pints, quarts, and gallons.

  3. Capacity is measured in ounces! • Ounce is the smallest unit of measure in capacity . • 8 ounces (oz.)= 1cup • 2 cups.= 1 pint (pt.) • 2 pts= 1 quart (qt.) • 4 qts. = 1gallon (g.)
