  5. I am thinking of another number. Add 6 and you get 20. What is my number?

  6. I am thinking of another number. Add 4 and you get 12. What is my number?

  7. I am thinking of another number. Subtract 9 and you get 4. What is my number?

  8. I am thinking of another number. Double my number is 14. What is my number?

  9. I am thinking of another number. Double my number is 12. What is my number?

  10. Main Activity Today we are going to think about a measurement called capacity.

  11. What do we measure when we measure mass? What units do we use? What measuring equipment do we use?

  12. What do we measure when we measure length? What units do we use? What measuring equipment do we use?

  13. Compare two containers. Which holds more? Why? How could you prove it?

  16. Look at the side of a measuring jug. What are the standard units? Why do we need standard units?

  17. How much is a litre? What is the smallest unit? How many millilitres in a litre?
