EMEDUS European Media Literacy Education Study

This study examines the current trends and approaches to media literacy in Europe, focusing on formal, informal, and non-formal education. It analyzes the obstacles and best practices of showing films and other audio-visual content in European schools. The study provides policy recommendations for the development of a new framework, national and European action plans, a European network, and a media literacy observatory.
