  3. A profound injustice • warming • sea-level rise • storms, floods, droughts • the rich pollute, but the poor suffer most

  4. A red herring? • • Nuclear = 24% of power • Power = 29% of CO2 • • CO2 = 85% of UK emissions • what about the rest?

  5. Its here! • Manufacturing = 15% of CO2 • Transport = 22% of CO2 • Domestic and commercial heat = 21% of CO2 • Other energy = 7% of CO2

  6. And here! • CH4 from farming, waste & industry = 7% • N2O mainly from farming = 6% • F-gases = 1.9%

  7. Plane Crazy • 5% of CO2 and rising • CO2 + NOx • outside Kyoto
