Our EMEA Shared Service Journey – the Future Policy Dialoguewith Businesses Business Unit • ‘Strategic Partner’ • Strategic and critical processes • Responsibility for achieving strategic goals, focused on core mission-critical activities • Accountable for financial and business results • Focus on Cargill’s customers, products and local markets Corporate Functions ‘Specialist’ Enterprise wide strategy and policy making Business Unit (s) • Recommend policy in areas of specialized skills and knowledge • Set standards in areas of specialized skills and knowledge • Monitor compliance with Corporate Requirements • Ensure Cargill access to “best practice” functional capabilities required for Strategic Intent • Lead selection, development, and evaluation of functional leadership and talent • Champion connectivity to other functions, shared services, and BUs, and establish/reinforce standards and consistency • Owns Major Business Processes (PRTP, RTR, HTR, etc).
