For whom? • Drivers engaged in road transportation • with C, C1, C+E • or D, D1, D+E • Over 3.5 tonnes • So not for drivers of campers, mobile homes and mobile cranes
Initial qualification • Option combining both course attendance and a test/option • Initial qualification / accelerated initial qualification
Periodic training • Periodicity/driving licence Directive • 35 hours every 5 years • content in Annex 1

Practical test PT2: • 7 scenarios • Starting on mirror adjustment place • Finish all scenarios without touching poles
Periodic Training: • Training should have maximum added value • System should offer maximum flexibility and tailor-made solutions
Periodic training, structure • Introduction of a “Menu system”, offering freedom of choice • CCV, Labour Market Parties and Ministry yearly determine list of approved training categories • CCV certifies Training institutes
