  1. Digital Divide And DDN • The Digital Divide Network was started in 1999 as a response to the National Digital Divide Summit hosted by Bill Clinton. Originally founded by the Benton Foundation and the National Urban League, the DDN was initially started as an information base on the topic of digital divide and resources. • The overall goal of the DDN is to interconnect the world in a positive way through the use of technology and the internet. They hope to overcome the divide between places that have access and those who do not. They are currently working with people around the world to help overcome
