Your Gift at Work • One out of every three people (over 100,000) in Collier County are helped through a United Way funded program or service • All money raised stays in Collier County • A person may need to visit 6 non-profit agencies to be made whole. Example: A woman leaving needs shelter and safety… but will also need counseling, child care, food and clothing.
When you support United Way, you reach out to your neighbors in need. Your generosity supports local programs that are effectively addressing the health and crisis needs of individuals and families. THE IMPACT OF YOUR GIFT: • A $50 gift will feed 25 individuals in need on Thanksgiving Day through Guadalupe Center. • A $100 gift will provide payment for two music therapy programs for Alzheimer's patients through Care Club of Collier County. • A $500 gift will pay for approximately 250 meals through Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida.
