  7. CMS Center Room Now: • Renovated • New blinds • New shelving for Monitoring Center

  8. Equipment: • 10 monitors Samsung, 24 “ resolution 1920x1200 • 5 desktop PCs: economical power saving solution • EVO recommended equipment • Whiteboard 100x150 -ordered • Color Laser Printer -ordered • Credits go to Daniel.

  9. System setup and Configuration • Network boot • FAI - Fully Automated Installation • credits to Oliver • Standard EKP desktop configuration • EKP users can use usual login and environment • Restricted access to Monitoring PC • All machines on EKP network subnet

  10. Summary and Plans: • New CMS Center room is setup and ready for use. • Technology is working !!! • We plan to purchase several separate bugger Monitoring screens for local points at GridKa, and EKP University building • Questions, suggestions are welcome!!
