Appearance (properties) The Quetzal is three feet long. The Quetzal is a brightly colorful bird.
Animal adaptation It likes to sit in one spot for a long time. The Quetzal eats fruit. It lives in South America. It is very friendly.
Animal Adaptation Quetzals nest in rotting trees. The female lays 1 to 2 light blue eggs.
Behavior and social habits Predators of the Quetzals include the gray squirrel , the ornate Hawk- eagle and Owls.
Interesting facts The male Quetzal has tail feathers that are up to three feet long. The female’s tail is much shorter.
