Journal #4 • In the first scene of Romeo & Juliet, we learn of the hatred between the Capulets and the Montagues when Sampson and Gregory, servants of the Capulets, start a fight with the servants of the Montagues. The way in which people started fights in Shakespeare’s time sound strikingly similar to how people start fights today. Write a modern dialogue between 2 people about to brawl. Use lots of repetition and provoking questions, as Shakespeare does.
