  2. Spring 2012 • Welcome back! • What’s New • Shirt designs • Colors for bracelets and pens • Volunteer Opportunities • Spring Conference

  3. Shirt designs • Jacky came up with designs for the shirts and I would like for us to vote on two designs, One for our club and one for the conference. • I will like to set up a design committee and nominate Ruben to lead.

  4. Volunteer Opportunities • Kayla Massa the VP has came up with many events that you choose from and I would like you opinion on what would you like to focus on.

  5. Spring Conference • Dates April 20-22 • At the Double Tree Hotel in San Jose by the airport • Registration is due by March 14th meaning we need to have all our paperwork and payment by March 7th. • Also, scholarships are available and encourage everyone to apply. We can only have 3 from each chapter to win on scholarship and it is a lot of info. Refer to http://www.ags-honor.org/ for everything you need. • We also have internal scholarships, so if you are not picked for the conferences then you can still earn a scholarship from us.

  6. Dues for Spring • Makes sure to have your updated fall transcript and another application ready. • Active members will pay 15 dollars dues and inactive will pay 10 dollars. • Active members will qualify for the regional scholarships, etc. • Inactive can be apart of a great club, earn internal scholarship and letter of recommendations. • Any questions, see me or Ellen Trieu

  7. Club Day • Valentines day! • Fundraiser will be Cake pops! • You can earn points for by volunteering with us to make them hopefully in Hospitality management building.

  8. Poster Making • We need a Huge Banner! • I deal place will be where Cki has their current banner. • Jacky who is involved with publicity will lead and anyone willing to participate, consult Jacky and you will receive volunteer points.

  9. Angel groups • If you are unable to make any meetings, all the information will be in our Angel Group and it is updated quite frequently. • You can also join our club page on FB and ags-sigmaiota@blogspot.com • Also you can email me or any of the officers with any questions.
