  5. The HIGH RENAISSANCE The High Renaissance era spanned from the late 15th century to the sack of Rome by Emperor Charles V in 1527. This period is defined by a renewed interest in Humanism and the most realistic depiction of man. It was dominated by many of the greatest artists of all time.

  6. The mona lisa Date painted: 1503 Mona Lisa, oil painting on a poplar wood panel by the Italian painter, draftsman, sculptor, architect, and engineer Leonardo da Vinci, probably the world’s most-famous painting.

  7. The last supper Date painted: 1495-1498 one of the most admired, most studied, and most reproduced paintings the world has ever known.
