Loser • Released March 8 1993 as a single • Re-released in 1994 album Mellow Gold • Written and recorded with producer Carl Stephenson in 6 hours. • Lyrics are nonsensical • Beck really thought he was a loser • Received unexpected radio airplay • Number ten on Billboard Hot 100 singles chart & topped Modern Rock Tracks chart. • Ranked 203 in Rolling Stone's The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time
