Three-four year olds: Understands #’s 1-4 Can count to 10 Some understand what first and last means Trade several small candies for a large one Can do puzzles
Four-five year olds Can draw to represent #’s Can determine sums up to five (4+1,3+2) Can do 10 piece puzzles

Set a goal I want you all to write a goal for Tiny Tigers tomorrow. I want you to describe TWO ways that you will help a Tiny Tiger develop their math skills. I want you to think of the ages of the Tiny Tigers and make sure that the way that you help them is appropriate to their age group.
Does this girl really understand the math problems? Would that be developmentally appropriate?
