  2. Initial Data Checks NPD communicates to Area Queries arising from Checks 1 – 6 Area completes data template Area sends completed template to NPD Area responds to queries Further queries NPD conducts initial analysis Validation Checks 1, 2, 3 ,4, 5 and 6 All initial queries resolved

Initial Cost and Equal Pay Analysis NPD communicates to Area Queries arising from Checks 7 and 8 NPD carry out initial cost analysis to identify any further potential data anomalies Checks 7 and 8 Area responds to queries Further queries NPD carry out initial Equal Pay Data Analysis Check 9 All initial queries resolved

Validation Sub-groupReview Report by data analysts to Validation Sub-group NNC Implementation Steering Group responds to Sub-group Sub-group not unanimous or wish to refer on a matter of principle Further analysis required Sub-group reports issues to NNC Implementation Steering Group Sub-group not happy with technical aspects of Area analysis Sub-group agrees to authorise implementation Area informed by Chair of NNC Implementation Steering Group
