The alternative fuel source By Sam
Quick look at Alydro • Brand new technology • Uses aluminum and water reaction to create a clean energy • Fully recyclable • Sustainable, safe, affordable
Alydro hybrid electric vehicle(A.H.E.V) Range: Runs for more than 2400km without running out of fuel. It takes about 5 minutes to refuel. Affordability: Cost is similar to gasoline. Safety: Aluminum fuel is non-toxic and non-flammable. Green Footprint: Tail pipe only has air and steam coming out. Eco-friendly: Aluminum is fully recyclable.
How A.H.E.V works • Alydro reactor is heated to 750-900 degrees Celsius. • Aluminum is melted inside the reactor. • Water is injected into the molten aluminum. • Reaction generates heat, aluminum oxide and hydrogen. • Oxide is collected in a separate container to be recycled • Hydrogen is put into generator to make electricity
Energy storage and capacity Capacity: 1 MWh of energy only takes up 43 litres of fuel Cost of Storage: Storing 1 KWh cost under $0.20. Safety: Alydro is non-toxic and non-flammable. Storage: Aluminum can be stored without going bad. Sustainability: Aluminum is fully recyclable
Benefits Energy capacity: Just a litre of Alydro contains 23.3 KWh but a litre of gasoline only contains 9.4KWh of energy. Cost: $1.9/kg so its less than $0.09/km. Safety: Alydro is non-toxic and non-flammable. Environment: Alydro has no emission, so no pollution. Sustainability: Alydro is fully recyclable. Transport: Alydro is very easy to transport because it is a solid.
Benefits summary This is the comparison of benefits of many different types of fuel compared to Alydro
Alydro reaction Translation: Aluminumatoms and 3 water molecules react to make 1 aluminium-oxide molecule and 3 hydrogen (H2) molecules.
