Family Display – BenQ FP72V 專為親子家庭所設計之液晶顯示器 An LCD monitor designed especially for a young and growing family. 2005 CES Innovations Awards 2005 Japan G-MARK Design Award 2006 IF Award 2005 IF China Award 由於父母與兒童對於產品的理念有所不同，必需兼顧各方面的考量，所以型式語意上是採用簡約且圓融，同時表現出機能型態的操作性，以簡潔對比的色彩做功能區分，暗示架構上可操作性，滿足孩童對“可操作性”的心理需求．（本產品開發初期，經過使用者調查，發展過程中還再一次做目標族群市場測試） Since parents and kids hold different perceptions towards product design, the design language has an accent on simplicity and harmony. Conveying a sense of functional operability, this unit uses a contrasting colored design to denote the different functions, fulfilling kids’ inner desire to “manipulate” something. The screen rests on a rotating arm, which adjusts flexibly to different heights. It can also be laid out horizontally or hung on a wall, emphasizing its ability to let parents and kids enjoy and share together.

  9. Crazy arm - LCD monitor 專為知識創意工作者所設計 Designed especially for knowledge or creative workers. Design in BenQ, 2004 ( IDEA 2005 ) 本設計是以創意與知識工作者出發，型式語意上是採用幾何的直線與圓弧，來表現簡潔且圓融，並採用無彩色系的珠珍白與銀色，來讓知識工作者心靈可以獲得平靜，減輕工作中的壓力，讓思考與靈感更加自由． This design starts out by keeping the creative and knowledge workers in mind, with a design language making liberal use of geometric shapes like straight lines and arcs. As an expression of simplicity and harmony, an unpretentious dual-color scheme employing pearl white and silver is adopted. By giving our knowledge workers greater peace of mind and a more stress-free environment, it is hoped that an abundance of thoughts and inspirations can pour forth more freely for them.

Design in BenQ, 2004 背面設計有可拆式觸手，除了功能的擴充，如︰ usb hub, web camera, 鏡子等等，更可讓創意工作者可以夾一些生活中小物，隨時激發靈感．雙軸式旋臂，可滿足各種觀看角度，圓型可旋轉式底盤，增加了與顧客在螢幕上討論工作的方便性． The screen mounts on a rotating arm, which adjusts easily according to varying work requirements. Round base plate also allows rotational capability, enabling full knowledge sharing during the work routines. Design of removable tentacle arms extending from the back allows creative workers to mount a number of everyday objects, like web camera, a mirror, or favorite pictures all around the screen, helping to bring about more inspirations anytime.
