Here are some of the basic care and growing requirements for your plant. • Select plants with growing necessities that match the indoor environment. Plants cannot fight off pests when they are struggling to develop in too little light, excessively wet or dry soil, too cold or too hot air temperatures, etc. • Find out how much water your plant requires. Water the soil not the leaves. Ensure that the plant’s pot drains well. Avoid allowing plants stand in water. Over-watering and improper drainage can cause the root to rot and encourage fungus gnats in addition to other pest issues.
