  2. Revelation 7:16-17 Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

  3. SIGNS OF STALE SPIRITUALITY • Do you feel like your spiritual walk is pushing the sell-by date? • Do you know someone who could use some encouragement? What might it mean to bespiritually stale? Is it realistic to expectto be “fresh” allthe time?

  4. ISN’T A SPIRITUAL DRY SPELL A PERSONAL MATTER? • Isaiah 58:11(b)You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:11(a)The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy yourneeds in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.

  5. WHAT IF MY SPRING IS EVEN TOO DRY FOR ME? • READ Ezekiel 47:1-12 Whosespring? God gives many symbolicencouragements relatingto freshnessandmiraculoushealingwaters!

  6. THE MILLENNIAL RIVER • What do these characteristics symbolize in terms of spiritual freshness? What “abnormal” characteristicsdo you observe aboutthis river?

  7. IS THIS RIVER MENTIONED ELSEWHERE? • Joel was 250 years before Ezekiel • Zechariah was after the Babylonian exile. Joel 3:18 Zechariah 14:8 Psalm 46:4

  8. HOW DOES THIS FUTURE PROPHECY APPLY NOW? • Just as God imputes upon us His righteousness, strength, and wisdom, so also does He offer His unlimited replenishment. Our Savior turns water into wine,and heals the blind manthrough washing mudwith the waters ofSiloam.

  9. UM… HOW DO I GET TO THESE WATERS NOW? • Luke 4:16 • Mark 10:1 • Luke 22:39 • What is the commonality? Does Jesus give us examplesof how He kept Himselffresh throughout theyears of his ministry?

  11. Your Challenge: Maintain your prayer life, your studies, andyour service to The Kingdom. Seek out and meditate on as many passagesabout water as you can find. Think about the context of these versesand how they can apply to your life today.
