Objective 1. Training media professionals Developing training modules fortrainers on journalism Elaborating a downloadable and print “pack” of information (National laws, Antidiscrimination bodies…) Running European and on location training workshops for journalism trainers

Producing and disseminating information through the media Making media professionals from diverse background work together and find innovative approaches for covering / including intercultural and diversity issues in media productions Establishing a permanent exchange network between media professionals, staff of antidiscrimination bodies and minorities' representatives Producing and disseminating print, audiovisual and online media reports on intercultural issues, discrimination…
Main achievements 3Media Encounter on intercultural issues and discrimination already organised in: - Seville, Spain, Apr. 09 at European Level, - Bari, Italy, Dec. 09, at Italian / European Level, - Odessa, Ukraine, May 10 at National Level. Next steps 1 at Regional level involving ethnic minority & diversity media professionals in Novi Sad, Serbia, Sept.10 1 at European level involving more than 100 media professionals (mainstream and ethnic minority & diversity media )in Istanbul, Nov. 2010 Publication of a brochure on the experience gained from these Media Encounters for media coverage on intercultural issues and discrimination, including their methodological aspects
