  4. Levels of Competition • Fall Leadership Conferences – Presented by different areas across the state, check www.texasbpa.com • Regional Leadership Conference – Last three weekends in January. First level of competition, Participate in Torch Awards program, State Service Projects, Area President elected, winners advance to State competition

Levels of Competition • State Leadership Conference -- • February 27-March 2--Houston, Texas--Participate in Torch Awards program, Texas Intern Program, State Officer Team elected, winners advance to Nationals • National Leadership Conference -- • May 8-12--Orlando, FL--Participate in Torch Awards, National Intern Program, National Leadership Academy, National Officers elected

News from the Board • Restructure has been put into place • Align contract dates • More work through committees • Budget is looking great • Establishing an Official Harassment policy • Adopted a new Sponsorship Program • Created committee to link competitive events to college and career readiness • Accepted contracts for future SLCs
