C Developer What we expect from you: Hands-on experience in C programming – application system level User experience on BSD/Linux/UNIX – 3 + years English: understanding, writing, technical – good; spoken – average/good. Team leading experience – as an advantage. Bachelor in computer science or related field Scrum, Agile method – as an advantage C language experience – 4+ years Unix/Linux/BSD development experience – 2+ years Scripting language development experience (Shell, TCL, etc) – 1,5+ years What will be considered as an advantage: Advanced debugging experience Telecommunication &3G experience Linux/Unix/BSD kernel development experience

  6. Project description If you want to work with the heart of 3G/4G mobile communications - this is theplace for you! Thousands and even millions of users sending Gigabits of mobile data traffic per seconds - this is every day situation for the system which is in scope of this project. This is a clustered (distributed) system with focus on performance, stability and modern mobile technologies support (3G/4G and it's evolution to LTE). It is written in pure C language under UNIX-based OS to achieve maximum performance and hardware resources utilization. Some Shell/TCL/HTML scripting also exist mainly in user interface area. If you are interested in system level programming and want to know how does the operating system kernel, user level applications, hardware and networking work together in distributed environment - this is the best place to learn it, because developers have an access to all the source code - starting from the HTML pages for the Web server and ending with kernel device drivers and boot sectors on the hard disk. There might be a change in any place! And remember, next time when you will be watching a YouTube video from your brand new smart phone - probably our system will be watching and controlling you including how much money you will pay to your mobile operator.

  7. JAVA Designer/Team Lead What we expect from you: Solid J2EE/J2SE development/maintenance background (at least 7 year of experience). Technical information on platforms, technologies: java: 1.4, 1.6, application server: Weblogic 10, database: Oracle 10, operating system: Solaris 10, database connectivity: JDBC, presentation layer: JSP or Swing, messaging: web services, JMS, build: ant Experience and ability to assume ownership and be responsible for development/maintenance of an enterprise application Experience and ability to provide technical leadership to a small team of developers – also to remote teams. Experience in creating and maintaining system specifications, technical design Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Bachelor or higher degree in computer science or related field What will be considered as an advantage: Working knowledge of technologies/platforms mentioned above Experience in multi-site (distributed teams) software development/maintenance Experience working with IBM/Rational tools family (Clear Quest, Clear Case)

Project description The CUST-DEV2 project is a take-over and maintenance project for 5 years to cover the provision of services to the Client in the field of specification, development, maintenance and support of customs systems mandated by the Customs 2013 program and by any other program in the scope of the Client activities. The start of the project will cover a knowledge transfer and application and specification take-over phase. Once everything has been taken over, a maintenance period kicks in during which Accenture performs corrective and evaluative maintenance. Additionally for a number of applications major new developments are foreseen, which will include work on the functional and system specifications, design specifications and development according to those. Thanks to the longevity of the project there are plenty of professional growth opportunities within this project for developers, testers and business analysts.

  9. Relocation and integration approach Accenture will provide full relocation and integration package. We will lower the entrance barrier and help all new comers integrate into Accenture, Latvia and EU. The package will include: Airplane ticket Pre-rented furnished apartment for the first 6 months, with extension option. Rent to be paid by the person. All apartments within 20 min from office Integration training Help in choice of schools & kindergartens
