Nursing is the only impacted major at CSUSB and admits only in Fall and Winter quarters. • Nursing accepts 88 B.S.N. students each year (supplemental application required). • Palm Desert Campus accepts 22 B.S.N. students every Fall term. • The B.A.S.W. program admits new students only in Fall quarter (supplemental application required). • Social Work accepts 50 B.A.S.W. students each Fall.
CSUSB has continued to declare campus-wide impaction for 2010-2011. • High schools located within CSUSB’s defined local area will be admitted based on the minimum standard CSU admission requirements. Submit application during application priority filing period and meet all transcript, confirmation deposit and document deadlines. • Check your campus e-mail account regularly for important information from CSUSB. • Attend CSUSB Presentation, Application Workshop, Financial Aid Workshop or CSUSB Open House event for information and assistance. • Don't forget to submit AP/IB scores and to take EPT/ELM placement exams early. • Remember when a student is first admitted it's on a provisional or conditional basis and they must meet all admission requirements with their final transcript!
October 1 through November 30, 2010 • Supplemental application needed for the impacted majors in Nursing and Social Work
May 1st – EPT/ELM must be taken • May 1st – Confirmation deposit due • July 15th – Deadline for all documents • Final High School transcripts, test scores, application fee, residency documents, etc. • All admission requirements must be completed by the end of Spring Semester. • Specific questions and appeals may be referred to the Associate Directors in the Office of Admissions & Student Recruitment.
After a student submits their application to CSUMentor, they will receive the following e-mail: • Application Acknowledgment e-mail containing their Coyote ID and instructions on activating their MyCoyote account and campus e-mail. • Check MyCoyote account often • Check CSUSB e-mail often • Remember to submit all admission requests by their established deadlines • Attend Open House event on October 30, 2010
*Non-resident students pay (in addition to other fees charged all students) $248 per unit and $124 per ½ unit out-of-state tuition. • Note: All CSU listed fees are estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees.
