Salary and additional benefits Current annual gross salary begins at $45,145 increasing to $66,562 for a Senior Teacher. Steps to follow in applying for teacher employment • Download the Application for Teacher Employment form from the website • Read the “Guide to completing your application for teacher employment” • Complete the form and sign it • Attach CERTIFIED copies of documentation • Submit your application- • If doing final prac Qld state school, hand to Principal (GR1) • If doing final prac non-state school, post to Teacher Applicant Centre (GR2)
If unable to supply certain document/s please attach a note advising approximately how long before it will be supplied • You will receive advice from TAC that your application has been received and processed
Dates for Applications • Mid year graduates • GR2 applicants – No later than 4 May 2007 • GR1 applicants - First day of final professional experience. Documents will be forwarded by the school by 15 June 2007. • End of year graduates • GR2 applicants – No later than 10 August 2007 • GR1 applicants – First day of final professional experience. Documents will be forwarded by the school by 21 September 2007.
