What is LogIt? LogItis a Network Video/Audio Recorder that allows you to record from any number of sources up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also keep the media for as long as you would like. REC
System Description 1. Video and/or audio sources are connected to the LogIt network recorder. Analog/Digital sources, as well as SD & HD can be supported 2. All sources are indexed and encoded – LogIt supports all bit rates and frame sizes. Encoding is in WMV and FLV Formats. 3. LogIt’s built-in application server provides users access to services such as live and recorded media, status reports, media exporting and more
View Live and Recorded Media • View multiple streaming channels, both live and recorded media side by side, video & audio • Instant, at-a-glance view of the status of all recording channels • Web based interface, no installation is needed
Export and Share any Media Items • Select any time frame, from a specific channel • Change bit rate and/or transcode to AVI, FLV and more • Send by e-mail directly from the web application • Save in a common shared location in the intranet or on the public net/upload to an FTP server • Export the selected media to your own computer • Burn to a DVD
Monitor Status and Receive Alerts in Real Time • Grid view provides an at-a-glance channel status using refreshing thumbnails • Visual alerts appear in case of a problem with the channel: Loss of Audio/Video signal, frozen picture, pixelized, audio too high and audio too low • Detailed report of signal status with Alerts log, live preview and bitrate history • Alerts can be sent by E-mail and SMS
LogIt is Safe & Reliable • RAID5/6 hard drive array with hot swappable drives – supports failure of up to 2 disk drives • Constant monitoring on status and automatic alerts by SMS or E-mail about loss of video or audio signal, frozen image, pixelized image and more • Optional: mirror systems for redundancy • Optional: Video source switching on capture device or source failure • Optional: DB and application automatic failover
Remote Recording (Optional) 1. Content is recorded and stored where the sources are available. 2. Content is delivered On-Demand to the application server over broadband lines 3. LogIt Technical Specifications • Record content to WMV files using Microsoft WMV9/VC-1 or MP4 files using H.264/AVC • Web-based user interface uses installed Windows Media Player or Flash Player • Compatible with web streaming out of the box • Content is available through system user-interface, streaming video, or network file access • 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 or 24 audio/video feed inputs • Composite BNC or S-Video for each input • Unbalanced RCA stereo audio for each input • Optional for 1-6 SDI connections with multiple audio streams • Support PAL, NTSC or SECAM, all variants • Configurable frame size up to full frame (720x480 for NTSC and 720x576 for PAL) • Configurable frame rate (up to 30 on NTSC, 25 on PAL) • Configurable on-frame overlay in recording or export, static (such as channel name) and dynamic (such as date and time) • Configurable bitrates up to broadcast-quality (multiple mbps) • Support for multiple bitrate recording for a single source • Based on Windows – XP Pro and 2003 Server supported • Automated removal of old content to make space of new content • Configurable storage, including any external network storage and the internal storage • RAID5 internal 3TB net storage, good for 550 24-hour days of content at 512kbps quality total • Configurable recording schedule, with multiple schedule per single channel • Export any time range to any bitrate at WMV9, FLV, MPEG-2, H.264 and other formats • On-screen, audio, E-mail and SMS alerts on no-audio, low-audio, high-audio, no-video and frozen image • Scale to multiple units managed centrally in the same user interface • Open HTTP-based API for integration with 3rd side applications
