Constraints • Harvest the energy from the momentum of the moving bicycle. • The unit price should be affordable; the primary target is for developing countries. • The design shall be ergonomic • The product should be weather/water resistant. • It is preferable to manufacture and assemble components in-house from raw materials where feasible. • Project success will be based on how fast the technology could be reproduced or re-manufactured by individuals with low levels of training or exposure. • Budget Estimate: Major cost items anticipated. • Product Benchmarking $150 • Prototype construction $350 • Testing $100 • TOTAL $600
