  2. The Walking Bike Baron Von Dravis invented the walking bicycle In 1817. To work the walking bicycle you would have to glide forward.

  3. The Two Wheel Bike The next appearance was the two-wheeled bike in 1865. The change was now there were pedals.

  4. The High Wheel Bicycle In 1870 the High Wheel bike was invented. This high bike was made out of light parts. The High Wheel was about an average six months pay!

  5. The Mountain Bike In 1978 the Mountain Bike was invented. Mountain bikes were sold for about $500 new and were made from 1978 and 1980. They sold about 600 Mountain Bikes.
