  14. 2002/03 Special Initiatives Continue to improve our ‘Yahoo’ grades (Cal Poly ranked 71st out of 100 colleges – Oct., 2001 issue) • Enhance our ‘Wired’ reputation by continuing to: • Improve wireless connections • Enhance university infrastructure • Enhance the online research needs of faculty and students • Integrate more content into Portal from around campus; ie. campus express, student transcripts Work with faculty to integrate Information Competence into the classrooms

  15. Strategic Issues Beyond 2002/03 Collaboration with ITS to: • Integrating Millennium products into Polycat • Data Storage for Digital Collections • Information competency (for faculty and students) • Implementation of Internet2 project
