  1. Geography Task: The teachers at Hogwarts have become ill we need to contact the teachers at the largest wizardry schools in Europe for their help. Learning Intention: To develop knowledge and understanding of a country within Europe National Curriculum: 3a: To identify and describe a place

Activity: • Activity requires children to work in mixed ability pairs. • Each pair provided with clues from Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire, which describes the setting of either Durmstrang Institute or Beauxbatons Academy of Magic • They need to use their investigative skills to work out the location of the school • Children will then be required to research this country and present their finding in a PowerPoint presentation
