  2. Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? NKJV #This is like a cry of anguish from Paul. #Having tasted of Christ, returning to the law is like being bewitched; madness; insane! #Obedience is FAITH IN CHRIST. Trying to fulfill the law is actually disobedience!

  3. John 6:28-29 28 Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?" 29 Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent." NKJV

  4. Rom 9:31-32 31 but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness. 32 Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone. NKJV Rom 10:4 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. NKJV

  5. Gal 3:2 2 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? NKJV #The greatest gift we have ever received is sonship; becoming God’s own children, when we received His Spirit. #That didn’t happen because we had done anything good. We just believed. #It’s therefore insane to think we’ll attain lesser things by keeping the law!

Rom 5:8-10 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. NKJV

  7. Gal 3:3-4 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?4 Have you suffered so many things in vain — if indeed it was in vain? NKJV #The flesh (our own carnal efforts) profits nothing in God’s Kingdom. #It is insane to think that we can attain righteousness or holiness our own efforts. #Only God can perfect us.

  8. John 6:63 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. NKJV Rom 7:18 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. NKJV

  9. Gal 3:5 5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? NKJV #Preaching the Gospel, healing the sick, casting out demons, raising the dead, living righteously, etc doesn’t happen by following a set of rules. Faith comes by hearing! #Miracles naturally happen in grace and faith filled environments. It’s not hard work!

  10. Rom 10:17 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. NKJV John 15:3 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. NKJV

  11. Gal 3:6-7 — 6 just as Abraham "believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." 7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. NKJV #He brings Abraham to kill the “circumcision for blessing” argument (Rom 4:10). #Abraham is called righteous, and his blessing is affecting people todate in Christ. WHAT DID HE DO TO DESERVE THIS?

  12. Rom 4:9-10 9 Does this blessedness then come upon the circumcised only, or upon the uncircumcised also? For we say that faith was accounted to Abraham for righteousness.10 How then was it accounted? While he was circumcised, or uncircumcised? Not while circumcised, but while uncircumcised. NKJV (Circumcision was to Abraham what Baptism is to us; a sign; Christ being the substance)

Isa 51:1-2 "Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, You who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were hewn, And to the hole of the pit from which you were dug. 2Look to Abraham your father, And to Sarah who bore you; For I called him alone, And blessed him and increased him." NKJV

  14. Gal 3:8-9 8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, "In you all the nations shall be blessed."9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. NKJV #Abraham was not Jewish; not an Israelite! #The law was given to Israel many years after Abraham had received the blessing!

Gal 3:17-18 17 And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect. 18 For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise. NKJV

  16. The law has nothing to do with: #Your sonship and relationship with God #Your righteousness #Your being blessed and blessing others #Your ministry and operating in the power of God. The law’s got nothing on you! IT’S ALL BY FAITH IN CHRIST ALONE…
