Spring has sprung! • When spring comes the tadpoles awaken. They are hungry. So they eat and eat. Tiny hind legs begin to sprout. Their bodies grow longer and stronger while their tails become smaller.
Frogs flick out their long, sticky tongues and capture worms, spiders and juicy . flies
HIBERNATION When winter winds whistle, the frogs hide. They sleep at the bottom of the pond in the soft, warm mud. Frogs hibernate all winter long. They do not eat, or move they just sleep.
