Recommendations for iPad and mobile device • Address Books: • Create Separate Address Book • Sync all new: Set Riva to automatically categorise and sync new appointments. • Calendar • Sync all new items • Sync series (so iPad recurring appointments are all synched)
Riva Advanced Settings for iPad • Add “Private” option for contacts • Move emails processed by Riva’s Archive Email, SmartConvert and AssignTo back to your inbox so they are not removed from Exchange • Set the option to have Riva reset categories on items that have been categorised (most important for appointments) Go to http://kb.omni-ts.com and search for the word “mobile” to see how to add the recommended advanced options recommended for iPad and other mobile device use.
Configure your iPad • Configure ActiveSync to show emails in non-default folders • Settings – Mail, Contacts, Calendars – Hosted Exchange – Mail Folders to Push (add the Opportunities, Cases, … folders but not the Create New or AssignTo folders) • Increase the number of Mail Days to Sync to meet your requirements • Settings – Mail, Contacts, Calendars – Hosted Exchange – Mail Days • Contacts • Ensure you select the correct email group by selecting the Groups Ribbon (equivalent to an Exchange contact folder or address book) when you want to create or manage CRM contacts.

Riva Live: Riva offered in the cloud as SaaS for smaller environments. No hardware or software to install in your environment. • Note: Riva Live will support the advanced iPad and mobile settings in the next release.
