  2. Windows Azure • A sad day • No more "Microsoft Windows Azure Oracle Linux Virtual Machines" :-( • As a result • @UKWAUG is dead! Long live @UKAZURE • (We avoided UKMAUG/UKmorgue) • Also the meetup.com group has renamed UKAzureUserGroup

Super quick update from TechEd! • Azure ExpressRoute, generally available starting today, • makes it possible for customers to create private connections between Azure and your DC • IP Reservation • lets you reserve public IP addresses and use them as virtual IP addresses • Azure Traffic Manager, now generally available, supports both Azure & external endpoints • Azure Files, in preview, • SMB share allowing multiple virtual machines to easily set up a file share on top of Azure’s highly available and durable storage system. • Azure Import/Export now generally available • Azure Cache now generally available. Azure Redis Cache now in preview. • Azure API Management (was apiphany) now in preview • Azure RemoteApp; RDS hosted in Azure
