Special Education Extended School Year (ESY) • 20 days from June 6 through July 3, 2012 • 38 preschool aged special education students at Vineland site • 141 elementary aged special education students at Orchard site • 36 secondary students were served at Miles P. Richmond site • Provided supports and services related to each student’s IEP goals
Early Childhood EducationKinder Kamp • Kinder Kamp program funded through First 5 for children with no prior preschool experience • June 11 through July 17, 2012 • 120 preschool aged students • Located at Madison, Garden Valley, Strauch, Village, and Hagginwood sites • Focus on transition into kindergarten • Held parent education session and distributed First 5 Readiness backpacks
Pacific High School & Vista Nueva High SchoolExtended School Year • 100+ alternative education students • Two programs • Pacific High School and Vista Nueva High School • English, Math, Social Science, and Physical Education • Friday Outings • Develop team building • Goal setting • 11 students graduated
