South Flow N Landing and Takeoff Area (LTA) LOADING AND UNLOADING PADS Make approaches to the Landing and Takeoff Area (LTA). Do not over-fly aircraft holding in the LTA, land in the grass area east of the LTA if necessary. After loading/unloading passengers and receiving clearance to taxi, hover back into the LTA and pedal turn to takeoff direction. No pedal turns on numbered parking pads. Aircraft should depart in sequence, upwind to downwind using the clear area extending from the center of the heliport to climb out to join the route outbound.
Scenario 1 Aircraft cleared to land simultaneously cleared to taxi to PAD 1. TWR: Race 6, clear to land PAD 1. *Note, landing is always made to the approach pad (in the LTA). If cleared to a PAD, after you reach the approach pad you may hover taxi from the LTA to the loading/unloading PAD. 6 5 4 3 2 1 LANDING AND HOLDING AREA (LHA)
