  3. Inbound/Outbound Altitude 2700’ Airspeed max. 100kts Join 3000’ Alt. when Northbound Inbound/Outbound Altitude 3000’ Airspeed max. 100kts Report to Speedway TWR “Speedway TWR SS with you” Automatic Switch to LAS TWR Automatic switch to 126.4 Speedway TWR “Speedway TWR Papillon 38 with you”

South Arrival/Departure • SPEEDWAY TOWER FREQ. 126.4 • From LAS: Report in to Speedway Tower @ Downtown on 126.4 • “Speedway TWR, Pap. 38 with you.” • From NLAS: Report in @ MLK BLVD on 126.4 • Report to Speedway Tower when south abeam antenna only if requested by tower • Fly from checkpoint directly towards the race track entering a right base to land to the south • If instructed to hold make RIGHT turns southeast of N. Las Vegas Blvd. @ 3000’ & 60 KIAS DEPARTURE • Depart South then turn northeast to follow N. Las Vegas BLVD. and around the eastern side of the track then direct to I-15 & I-215 interchange • Follow I-15 southbound staying right of the road

North Arrival/Departure • SPEEDWAY TOWER FREQ. 126.4 • From LAS: Report in to Speedway Tower @ Downtown on 126.4 • From NLAS: Report in @ MLK BLVD. on 126.4 • Report to Speedway Tower when south abeam antenna. only if requested by tower • Fly from checkpoint directly towards the south side of the Bullring then enter a left base to land to the north • If instructed to hold make RIGHT turns southeast of N. Las Vegas Blvd. @ 3000’ & 60 KIAS • DEPARTURE • Depart North then turn west staying north of the antenna and fly directly to the I-15 & I-215 interchange • Follow I-15 southbound staying right of the road

  9. N LOADING / UNLOADING PADS TAXI AND TAKEOFF AREA (TTA) LANDING AND HOLDING AREA (LHA) Area is 300’ x 855’, divided into 100’ x 855’ strips. Make approaches to the LANDING AND HOLDING AREA (LHA) abeam your pad. Do not over-fly aircraft holding in the LHA, land short if you cannot land abeam your pad. Go-around turnouts to the west, when necessary. Do not taxi through the TAXI AND TAKEOFF AREA (TTA) until cleared. Ideally you should cross the TTA at a 90 degree angle approaching your pad. After loading/unloading passengers and receiving clearance to taxi, hover back into the TTA and pedal turn to takeoff direction and hold for takeoff. No pedal turns on numbered parking pads. Aircraft should depart in sequence, upwind to downwind using the clear area extending from the center of the heliport to climb out to join the route outbound.

  14. Scenario 1 Aircraft cleared to land SPOT 4 simultaneously cleared to taxi to PAD 4. TWR: Mav.6, clr’d to land PAD 4. *Note, landing is always made to a SPOT (in the LHA).   15. Scenario 2 Aircraft cleared to land SPOT 7, ATC then clears PAD 9 for departure. TWR: Landmark 26, clr’d to land SPOT 2. LMK 26: Rgr.TWR: Papillon 39, clr’d to depart PAD 9. PAP 39: Rgr.TWR: Landmark 26, taxi to PAD 2. LMK 26: Rgr.*Note, landing is always made to a SPOT (in the LHA) then taxi across TTA to a PAD when cleared by TWR..
