The Basics • This presentation shows both new and seasoned members what is involved in federal tax filing if your club has less than $50,000 in annual GROSS receipts • Every club MUST do this yearly within 5 months of the close of your fiscal year. • If not done once in past 3 years, club can lose its federal tax-exempt status
Starting Out • Go to www.irs.gov/Filing/Charities-&-Non-Profits - Click e-file for Charities and Non-Profits
Next Screen • Click on See e-postcard (Form 990-N) link
