  2. To what extent did the decade of the 1950s deserve its reputation as one of consensus and conformity? Support Conformity? Challenge Conformity? Directions: You should be beginning this exercise with a t-chart. One side of the T-chart should be elements of the 1950s that support conformity. On the other side of the should be a list of information that challenges the idea of 1950s conformity. As you go through the slides and listen to the information, include additional information and details that either support or challenge conformity. You will be turning this in, so make sure to take good notes!
