Global Warming Act of 2006 – AB 32, SB 375 and 2202 AB 32 requires the State Air Resources Board to adopt regulations to require the reporting and verification of emissions of greenhouse gases and to monitor and enforce compliance, and requires the state board to adopt a statewide greenhouse gas emissions limit equivalent to the statewide greenhouse gas emissions levels in 1990 to be achieved by 2020. SB 375 requires regions to adopt Sustainable Communities Strategies in the Regional Transportation Plan for the purpose of reducing greenhouse gases. It aligns transportation & housing. AQMD Rule 2202 requires all companies with 100 and over employees to determine employees driving behaviors and traffic congestion.
