ADC 226 • ADC 226 established Authority Code edits to replace DODAAC edits from the ADC 110 Series. • Implemented in November 2009 at DLA Transaction Services. • ADC 110 edits based on “Bill to” DODAAC were removed. • For example, edits for “FA” DODAAC’s, which are administrative DODAAC’s only, were removed and replaced by an edit for Authority Code “07” – Administrative Only. • Bills coming into DLA Transaction Services containing a DODAAC with Authority Code “07” would reject. 3. Current Authority Codes • “00” – Requisition, Bill to, Ship to • “01” – Ship to Only • “02” – Bill to Only • “03” – Do Not Ship to • “04” – DRMS Only • “05” – Non-Requisition • “06” – Free Issue • “07” – Administrative Integrity - Service - Innovation

4. Authority Codes – Issues & Proposed Action • Non-Interfund DODAAC’s with Authority Code “00” flow through DLA Transaction Services. • For example, “FT” and “FF” DODAAC’s are assigned Authority Code “00”, but are not allowed to go through Interfund. • Recommend the establishment of a Non-Interfund Authority Code. • If the ADC 110 Series is discontinued, then a new edit will need to be established to ensure non-interfund ‘bill to’ DODAAC’s reject at DLA Transaction Services. • Possible Benefits: • Will help prevent Non-Interfund bills from coming through DLA Transaction Services. • Will help identify DODAAC’s using the SF 1080 process that should be going through Interfund.
