4. Track 1: Session 8, Army Networthiness Program WHY? Proactive versus Reactive! AR 25-1, para 6-2n, “All computing software, equipment, and devices connected to the network must achieve networthiness certification.”
AR 25-2, para 3-2a(9) gives RCIOs the duties of the networthiness program
Curtail Drive-by fielding of systems
Gives RCIOs the opportunity to provide PMs feedback to formally recognize issues with fieldings
No testing required

DOIM can refuse system fielding without CON
