Updates on X.oid-res (1/9) • ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 meeting (Tokyo, 1 ~ 5 June 2009) • Joint meeting between ITU-T Q.12/17 and ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6/WG9 was held • Multiple Unicode Label problem was raised and use of DNAME Resource Record was proposed by CNNIC • It was agreed to initiate CD ballot in ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 • CD ballot will be closed at 11 September 2009 • CD text for X.oid-res (ISO/IEC 29168) can be found in TD 0325

Future Work Proposal • CNNIC and NIDA need to provide followings to the next SG17 meeting (16 ~ 25 September 2009) • Survey result on domain name for OID resolution server • Test result of DNAME resource record to solve multiple Unicode Label problem • Revision of X.oid-res • Step 1: Submit test result of DNAME resource record to editor • Step 2: Revision by editor • Step 3: CJK review • Step 4: Submit to SG17 31 July 28 August 3 October 6 September STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 Modify Submit to SG17
